Global presence and the ability to innovate drive us to face the challenges of the market and to build solid bases for the future.

“Receiving the Premio dei Premi “Prize of Prizes 2016” confirms our ability to maintain and reinforce our competitive advantage through innovation.”

Message of Fabio Storchi, Chairman of the Board

New goals on our path for excellence.
Because innovation is in our DNA

The development and enhancement of innovation in all company areas and activities is the distinguishing feature that has guided the company from 1970 to the present day. Precisely thanks to the way it has “promoted the image of Italian excellence as a world leader in the sector, receiving numerous awards at international level”, Comer Industries has received the “Imprese X Innovazione – Andrea Pininfarina” (Business for Innovation – Andrea Pininfarina) award on the part of Confindustria (General Confederation of Italian Industry) and has been awarded the “Prize of Prizes 2016” by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. Established by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers on the orders of the Quirinale, the recognition is reserved for the best businesses able to maintain and increase their competitive advantage through innovation.
The path we have followed to create innovation day-by-day is based on the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) model, which guides the company towards targets of excellence with a corporate culture based on continuous improvement. The prestigious Recognized for Excellence 4 Star level further to the EFQM assessment confirms the results achieved in terms of market, staff, suppliers and environment.

This year Comer Industries, in a context characterized by a strong decline in the agricultural sector at a global level, closed 2016 with a consolidated turnover of 303.8 million euros, operating margin of 22 million euros and net profit of 6.6 million euros, showing a fall in total revenues of 7.29%.
Despite the difficult market trend, in the 2014-2016 period we invested a record amount, more than 70 million euros, in new production sites, new products and technologies for the creation of the “smart factory”, which will allow us to successfully face the fourth industrial revolution, Industry 4.0.

The ambitious achievements to date are the result of over forty years of commitment to the business of the Storchi family, the unity of the same family and the sharing of a value-based system established on the principles of ethics, trust and the search for expertise and professionalism.
The company was founded in 1970: the time has come for the second generation of our family, our children and nieces and nephews, to take over the helm, in the knowledge that, thanks to our teaching and their experience gained, they will enable Comer Industries to continue along its path of growth. Always with renewed enthusiasm to reinforce the company’s role as international leader in the design and production of advanced engineering systems and mechatronics solutions for power transmission.
