SCHOOL-WORK ALTERNATION

Among the first to apply the “Buona Scuola” (“Good School”) law

Comer Industries was among the first companies in Italy to welcome students from high schools, setting up the traineeships provided for by Law 107 of 2015, the so-called “Buona Scuola” (“Good School”) law, which introduced the school-work alternation obligation.
We are proud to provide young people with experience in the field and to help them find their bearings for their professional future.

A BRIDGE BETWEEN UNIVERSITY AND THE WORKING WORLD

We invest in young talents

We have set up university internships with students coming from the main universities of Emilia Romagna, Basilicata, Lombardy, Veneto and Piedmont. Young talented people have been able to put their skills to the test with innovative projects and an industrial organization with an international flavor.

A TEACHER FOR “ITS MAKER”

We promote the training of specialized technicians

Comer Industries is among the founding partners of “ITS MAKER”, the Technical Mechatronics College (Istituto Superiore Meccanica, Meccatronica, Motoristica e Packaging dell’Emilia Romagna - the Mechanics, Mechatronics, Motor Design, Manufacture and Packaging Technical High School in Emilia Romagna).
Again this year we have provided the school with a teacher, selected from among our associates, who has given a series of lessons dedicated to the continuous improvement of performance to increase competitiveness on the global market.

“Moving to Charlotte was a unique opportunity, considering my desire to visit new countries and take up new challenges… so here I am working in America providing technical support to the sales team in the USA.”

OUR PEOPLE AT THE CENTER

Comer Academy: the future is built through training

The corporate academy passes on technical and regulatory knowledge, develops leadership approaches and promotes a team spirit.
In 2016 we increased the involvement of our colleagues in the foreign subsidiaries and production departments.
And, for the first time, we have opened up the courses to our suppliers.

TOWARDS THE INTEGRATION OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN

Training for enhancing the Supply Chain

Comer Academy opens to suppliers: among the initiatives aimed towards developing the Supply Chain, we have organized a session dedicated to Problem Solving (8D), which makes it possible to identify, correct and eliminate the repetition of quality problems through actions that remove the root cause.
The next step will be the involvement of suppliers in management training, with the objective of integrating the supply chain to guarantee customers excellent levels of performance.
